SouthPark Christian Church works very hard to Support a variety of Social Justice Issues and non-profit Organizations .There are a variety of Social Justice issues to get involved with here at SouthPark Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).   Here are just a few examples of how we put “Mission First.” in 2016

Community Garden;  dozens of volunteers gave 200 hours of time providing food for those in need.

Crop Walk; 9  volunteers gave 36 hours of time to raise money to feed hungry people around the world.

We collected and donated 1,000. pounds of food to Loaves and Fishes.

Our ‘Soul Kitchen’ Ministry cooked and delivered 353 meals, 10 volunteers gave 1,248 hours and drove 3,408 miles.

We continued to develop our relationship with McCreesh Place, an organization that works to end homelessness in Charlotte.

We supported the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in their  work to increase funding for Pancreatic Cancer research.  and we supported ‘Week of Compassion’ ministry of our denomination the  Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) that works to provide disaster relief to those in need and humanitarian aid to refugees around the world.
